As an Enterprise Architect, he has dedicated the past decade to optimizing SaaS infrastructure, ensuring maximum reliability, high availability, and scalability for mission-critical systems. Lance's technical foundation spans 25 years of deep experience with CentOS and Linux distributions, including significant contributions at NASA's Johnson Space Center, where he managed the Intelligent Systems Lab's Unix systems and developed custom device drivers for embedded Linux systems.
Prior to joining Perforce, Lance worked for companies including Cisco, IBM, and Citrix, where he consistently delivered transformative solutions, from reducing server build times from over a week to under an hour through automation, to implementing comprehensive identity management and configuration management systems. Lance holds multiple industry certifications including CISSP, CCNA, RHCE, Puppet, OpenStack, and AWS, demonstrating his commitment to maintaining cutting-edge expertise across diverse technology platforms.
