Flexible Technology Platform

As companies around the world expand their use of open source stacks and packages, they need ways to effectively and efficiently manage open source deployments throughout the enterprise.

OpenLogic Enterprise is a flexible technology platform that lets companies strengthen and protect the integrity of their open source packages, improve efficiency of technical staff, and provide enterprise control over open source package deployments.

Unlike limited, fixed open source stack providers, OpenLogic Enterprise lets you configure and deploy open source stacks as well as mixed stacks to meet the needs of your business. You choose the components you want to use -- open source, commercially-licensed software, or applications developed in-house -- and OpenLogic Enterprise automatically assembles, configures, integrates, installs and tests your custom software stacks on-the-fly, in your unique business environment.

Each OpenLogic Enterprise component can access the certified open source library as well as the expert knowledgebase. The components include:

Fits Your Environment

OpenLogic Enterprise fits easily with your existing development infrastructure and tools. Whether you need to integrate with software distribution technologies like Opsware, Tivoli, SMS, or other development tools, OpenLogic Enterprise includes the interfaces you need.

Our certified library can also be extended to incorporate your open source, commercially-licensed, or in-house software solutions. Using our unique plug-in architecture, you can extend OpenLogic Enterprise to build mixed environments of open source and proprietary technologies.

Automatic Updates

At OpenLogic, we are always updating our library of certified open source packages. We continually monitor for the latest open source version updates and patches and automatically verify and certify new versions as they become stable and reliable.

The OpenUpdate subscription service provides you with access to these new software packages, updates to existing packages, bug fixes, and critical security patches over the Internet. Subscribers can choose to check for updates manually or to create an automatic update schedule.

With the OpenUpdate subscription service, you can ensure that you are getting stable, up-to-date solutions.
