How the Open Source Fulfillment Center Works

The Open Source Fulfillment Center is a service that helps customers fulfill their license obligations related to providing source code, build instructions, and license information for the open source software used in distributed products.

OpenLogic provides each Open Source Fulfillment Center customer with its own branded fulfillment site containing downloads, build instructions, and information specific to the open source it uses and/or distributes – which we determine by auditing the customer's products or applications using a variety of open source scanning tools. Next, we analyze the related open source licenses within the context of their usage and distribution, and then provide a comprehensive report on the steps necessary to ensure open source license compliance. Finally, we develop and launch a branded open source fulfillment site that fulfills the customer's obligations to provide open source code, build instructions, and other applicable information.
