BROOMFIELD, Colo. December 8, 2010 - OpenLogic, Inc., a provider of enterprise open source software support and open source governance solutions encompassing hundreds of open source packages, today announced new features in OpenLogic Exchange (OLEX) that enable agile development organizations to effectively track open source usage and ensure compliance with open source licenses. OLEX is a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution for comprehensive provisioning, governance, scanning and compliance for open source software.

The new OLEX functionality enables agile organization to use more open source while ensuring compliance with internal polices and open source licenses. OLEX now includes:
Command line scanning: Command line interface allows developers to automaticalkly kick off OpenLogic's OSS Deep Discovery scanner when code is built or on the completion of a sprint or interation.
Automatic delta scanning: Delta scanning capabilities enable developers to focus in on open source in only code that is new or changed since the last scan. This reduces the time needed to review and analyze results.
Alert options: OLEX automatically alerts developers on new open source found so that they can quickly respond and ensure the project stays on schedule.
The new agile functionality for OLEX is available now and is included for customers using OLEX's License Compliance module.
