Steven Grandchamp has over twenty-five years of experience in the software industry, where he has served in executive roles for both vendor and IT customer organizations.
At OpenLogic, he leads the company on its mission to help enterprises successfully and safely build and deploy applications built using open source software. The company developed the OpenLogic Expert Community (OXC), the industry leading crowd-sourced approach to community open source support. The company also developed the industries first true SaaS scanning and compliance platform, OpenLogic Exchange (OLEX).
Formerly, Steven was President and CEO of Information Management Research where he led the company's move into Enterprise Content Management. Prior to that, he was Vice President and a principal shareholder at American Fundware, where he was responsible for the company's software development effort. Steven was also a founding partner of Formation Technologies Inc, a software company for the banking industry that emerged as a leader in the loan origination segment.
Steven held various senior management positions with Microsoft including the application development segment of Microsoft Consulting Services. Steven spent the early part of his career in progressively responsible IT roles in the banking industry.
Steven graduated summa cum laude from Regis University with a Bachelor's degree in International Business. Steven thrives in a variety of climates – having lived in both Alaska and Hawaii. He keeps life exciting by staying in constant motion as a runner, cyclist, skier, motorcyclist and parent of four children. He also recently completed The Tough Mudder, billed as the toughest one-day race event on the planet!
Rod founded EJB Solutions in 1998, later renamed to OpenLogic, to provide enterprise grade tools and solutions that remove barriers to effective software development and deployment. His extensive knowledge and experience with open source has culminated in a suite of products that enable enterprise control and reduce programmer pain when using and deploying dozens of popular open source technologies.
With 20 years of experience developing enterprise software solutions, Rod has provided technical leadership on significant projects for companies such as IBM, Anthem, Ericsson, Ford, Goodyear, Integral, CourseNet, and Digital Thoughts.
Rod is a Sun Certified Java Architect and routinely speaks at technical conferences such as Java Symposia and the O'Reilly Open Source Convention. Rod was selected as one of the Top 10 presenters at JavaOne 2005. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Software Engineering from the University of Louisville. A lifelong entrepreneur, Rod's first business success was at the age of 13 when he taught himself to program and started selling his own software. His varied achievements include a first degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do, Kentucky state chess champion and successful open source implementations at over 17 enterprises worldwide.
Pete has over 18 years of professional finance and technology management experience. Prior to Joining OpenLogic Pete was the Chief Operating Officer at Information Management Research where he was in charge of worldwide operations of the company. Pete was instrumental in establishing a profitable professional services group and technical support team that delivered ROI to customers in 42 countries. Pete earlier held the office of VP Finance at IMR, leading the company through three rounds of successful financing. Pete also has 10 years of experience in brokerage accounting and compliance.
Pete has a passion for golf and is engaged in a persistent, yet-to-be-successful quest for a lower handicap.
