Initially, the panel was going to be end users (CIO-level) talking about specifics of open source adoption and there was a request from one of the panelists to have no press. We agreed to this request. Last week, two of the end user panelists bailed due to a scheduling conflict, and I put together a new panel on the Microsoft patent issue less than a week before the reception. I asked the new panelists whether we should keep the no press policy in effect. The answer was &#039;yes&#039;. The biggest concern was attributing quotes to specific panelists at a sensitive time. Thank you for not doing this in your blog post.</description>
