Carly Fiorina talks about the collective attitude at Hewlett-Packard during her time as CEO, and how diversity can enhance the workplace. In HP's case, she says, change was not openly accepted, which proved to be a challenge while she led the computer giant.
That's interesting because I always thought that she didn't realize how much change she was asking for. Personally, I thought a lot of the changes were good but some were a very big change from the way "things used to be done" and she didn't allow a lot of time for people to buy-in to the changes.
